How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use appropriate cleaning agents and ensure good ventilation when running cleaning cycles.
- Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot wash with a washer cleaner or a cup of white vinegar followed by a rinse. Repeat if odor is severe.
- Clean door gasket: Wipe the door boot folds with a mild bleach solution to remove mold. Rinse thoroughly.
- Leave door open: After each use, leave the door and dispenser drawer slightly open to allow drying.
- Inspect sump: Clean the drain pump filter and sump area to remove trapped debris that can cause odor.
