Possible Causes
Unbalanced load detected repeatedly, Clogged drain system leaving water in tub, Faulty tachometer sensor on UniMac motor, Worn drive belt slipping under load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
- Check for standing water: If water remains in the drum, troubleshoot and clear the drain pump and hose first; the washer will not spin with water present.
- Redistribute load: Open the door and redistribute heavy items. Remove some items if the drum is overfilled, then run a spin-only cycle.
- Inspect belt: Check the drive belt for glazing, cracks, or looseness. Replace if worn.
- Test tachometer: If the drum tumbles but will not reach high speed, test the motor tachometer as described in the E06 procedure. Replace the motor if the tach is faulty.
