Washer displays E09 and does not start or stops unexpectedly

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains power before removing the top or control panels.

• 1. Power reset: Unplug the washer for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Reconnect and try to start a simple program.
• 2. Check supply voltage: Ensure the wall outlet provides stable voltage and that no extension cords or adapters are causing intermittent power.
• 3. Inspect control connections: Remove the top cover and carefully inspect the wiring harness between the user interface (display board) and the main power electronics module. Reseat all multi-pin connectors.
• 4. Look for damage: Check the control boards for burn marks, corrosion, or moisture. If moisture is present, dry thoroughly and identify the source of ingress.
• 5. Software reset (if available): Some V-ZUG models allow a factory reset via key combination (refer to the service documentation). Perform a reset if accessible.
• 6. Replace control module: If E09 persists and wiring is intact, the main control module may be defective. Replacement of the V-ZUG power electronics module should be done by a qualified technician to ensure correct programming and safety.
