Possible Causes
Clogged detergent drawer channels, Blocked dispenser nozzles, Faulty dispenser solenoid valve, Low water pressure to dispenser
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing hoses or panels.
- 1. Clean detergent drawer: Pull out the V-ZUG detergent drawer completely (press the release tab). Soak in warm water and scrub away detergent residue, especially around the softener compartment and siphon caps.
- 2. Clean housing nozzles: Inspect the dispenser housing where water enters the drawer. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clear blocked spray holes.
- 3. Check water pressure: Ensure the inlet filter screens are clean and the tap is fully open so that sufficient water reaches the dispenser valves.
- 4. Test dispenser valves (advanced): Remove the top cover and locate the dispenser solenoid valves feeding the drawer. Inspect wiring and connectors. With a multimeter, check coil resistance; open coils indicate failure.
- 5. Replace faulty valve: If a dispenser valve coil is defective or does not open when energized, replace the corresponding V-ZUG dispenser valve assembly.
- 6. Technician support: If valves and drawer are clean but E10 persists, the control module output or wiring may be faulty and should be checked professionally.
