Possible Causes
Simultaneous door lock and water level inconsistency, Faulty pressure sensor, Faulty door lock feedback contact, Control module logic error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before inspection.
- 1. Reset appliance: Unplug for 10 minutes, then reconnect and attempt a short cycle.
- 2. Check door lock: Ensure the door closes firmly and the lock engages. Follow door lock inspection steps and replace if unreliable.
- 3. Check water level sensor: Inspect the pressure hose and sensor as for E04. Clear any blockages and ensure secure connections.
- 4. Observe behavior: If E24 appears at the start, suspect door lock. If it appears during fill or drain, suspect pressure sensor.
- 5. Replace faulty component: Replace the V-ZUG door lock or pressure sensor as indicated by testing.
- 6. Technician diagnosis: If both components test good, the main control module may misinterpret signals and should be checked by a V-ZUG technician.
