Possible Causes
Conflicting signals from pressure sensor, Inlet valve malfunction, Drain pump not operating correctly, Control module water management error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and close the water tap before working on the water system.
- 1. Note when E30 occurs: If it appears during filling, suspect inlet/pressure sensor. If during draining, suspect pump/pressure sensor.
- 2. Check pressure sensor and hose: Inspect and clear the pressure hose and verify sensor connections as described for E04.
- 3. Verify inlet and drain: Confirm that the inlet valve fills correctly (E02 checks) and that the drain pump empties the drum (E03/E20 checks).
- 4. Power reset: After checks, unplug for 10 minutes, reconnect, and run a short program to test.
- 5. Replace faulty parts: Replace the V-ZUG pressure sensor, inlet valve, or drain pump as indicated by testing.
- 6. Technician service: Persistent E30 with all hardware verified suggests a control module fault requiring professional diagnosis.
