Possible Causes
Transport bolts not removed, Washer not leveled, Worn shock absorbers, Unbalanced loads
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not allow the washer to operate unattended if it moves significantly; it can damage hoses and wiring.
- 1. Check transport bolts: Ensure all shipping/transport bolts at the rear of the washer have been removed according to the installation manual.
- 2. Level the appliance: Adjust the front and rear feet so the washer is level side-to-side and front-to-back. Lock the feet in place.
- 3. Load distribution: Avoid washing single heavy items. Mix large and small items to balance the drum.
- 4. Inspect suspension: Check shock absorbers and springs for wear as described in the noise fault. Replace worn V-ZUG shocks.
- 5. Floor stability: Place the washer on a solid, non-flexing floor. Avoid thick, soft mats under the feet.
