Water heater frequently shuts off when other taps or appliances are used, causing temperature drops.

Possible Causes

Shared supply line with other high-demand fixtures, Undersized plumbing, Partially closed isolation valve, Clogged inlet filter

Comfort issue: This is usually a hydraulic problem rather than an internal heater fault.

1. Check inlet valves:
- Ensure the cold water isolation valve to the heater is fully open.
2. Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the inlet filter screen.
3. Avoid simultaneous high demand:
- Limit use of other large water consumers (washing machine, garden hose) while showering.
4. Consult a plumber: If pressure drops significantly when other fixtures run, upgrading the supply line or installing a pressure-balancing system may be necessary.
