Water leaks from the brine tank or around its base.

Safety: Unplug the unit and contain the leak to prevent floor damage. Brine is corrosive to some materials.

• Identify source: Dry the outside of the tank and observe where new moisture appears—at fittings, seams, or the bottom.
• Check fittings: Tighten or reseal the brine line and overflow fittings. Replace grommets or bulkhead fittings if they seep.
• Inspect safety float: Ensure the float shuts off brine fill and is not stuck open, causing an overflow.
• Assess tank integrity: If the tank itself is cracked or perforated, replacement of the brine tank is recommended rather than repair.
