Possible Causes

Hardness set too high, incorrect resin capacity setting, flow meter mis-reading high usage, small leak in plumbing causing constant flow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No disassembly required for initial checks.

  • Review settings: Compare the programmed hardness and capacity with actual water test results and Nobel's sizing chart. Reduce hardness setting if it was overestimated.
  • Check for leaks: With all taps closed, check the display for flow. If it shows usage, locate and repair leaks or running toilets.
  • Monitor usage: Track daily water usage on the display (if available) and compare with household expectations. Adjust regeneration reserve or day override settings accordingly.
  • Inspect flow meter: If usage readings are clearly unrealistic, the flow meter may be faulty and should be cleaned or replaced.
