Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or require excessive force.

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

• 1. Clean surface: Wipe the keypad with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt residue.
• 2. Inspect for moisture: Remove the control cover and check for condensation behind the keypad. Dry thoroughly.
• 3. Reseat keypad cable: Ensure the keypad ribbon cable is firmly connected to the control board.
• 4. Replace keypad: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the RainSoft keypad/display module.
