Safety first: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve to stop further filling. Avoid electrical contact with standing water.

• 1. Inspect safety float: Remove the brine well cover and ensure the float moves freely up and down. Clean any salt sludge or debris. Replace if the float is waterlogged or stuck.
• 2. Check brine valve: At the control head, inspect the brine valve for debris preventing it from closing. Clean or replace as needed.
• 3. Verify programming: Confirm the brine refill time and salt dosage settings are appropriate for your Rayne model and salt setting.
• 4. Pump out excess water: Use a wet/dry vacuum or hand pump to remove excess water from the brine tank before restarting.

When to call a technician: Persistent overfilling after cleaning and adjustment indicates a defective brine valve or control board.
