E18 error is displayed, and the unit reports low salt even when the tank is full.

Safety first: Disconnect power before handling internal sensor wiring.

• 1. Clean the sensor: Remove the salt level sensor from the brine tank. Rinse off salt crust and sludge with warm water. Do not use abrasive tools.
• 2. Check the wiring: Ensure the sensor cable is intact and firmly connected to the Rayne control board.
• 3. Reset the alarm: After cleaning and reconnecting, clear the low salt alarm per the user manual and monitor.

When to call a technician: If the sensor continues to misread, replacement of the sensor or recalibration by a technician may be required.
