Tapworks Clock / Time Setting Issue

Tapworks softener regenerates at the wrong time of day.

Possible Causes

Incorrect current time set, AM/PM confusion on 12-hour models, time zone or daylight saving not adjusted, control board clock drift.

Safety: No special hazards; adjustments are made via the control panel.

Set correct time: Follow the user manual to set the current time accurately, paying attention to AM/PM if applicable.
Adjust regeneration time: Set the regeneration start time to a low-usage period (e.g., 2:00 AM).
Monitor for drift: Check the clock after a few days. If it gains or loses significant time, the control PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
