The display shows 'Lo', and the temperature cannot be adjusted higher or lower properly.

Safety: No internal work is needed for basic checks; unplug only if removing panels.

• Check user manual: Some Antarctic Star models display 'Lo' when set to their minimum temperature. Verify the allowed range and adjust within it.
• Unlock controls: If a control lock is enabled, follow the manual (often holding a specific button for 3–5 seconds) to unlock and adjust the temperature.
• Compare with thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside and compare it to the display. If the displayed temperature is far off, the cabinet thermistor may be faulty.
• Replace sensor if needed: If the sensor is defective, replace it as described in the 'E1' procedure.
• Control board: If the sensor is good but 'Lo' remains and the temperature cannot be set correctly, the main control PCB may require replacement.
