Possible Causes
Door gasket not sealing, Frequent door openings, High ambient humidity, Failed door heater (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is usually required, but unplug the unit if you remove door trims.
- Check gasket seal: Inspect the entire perimeter of the door gasket for gaps. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer and reshape if deformed.
- Reduce door openings: Limit how often and how long the door is open, especially in humid environments.
- Ambient humidity: If the room is very humid, consider using a dehumidifier nearby.
- Door heater (if present): Some models have a low-wattage heater around the door frame. If condensation is severe and persistent, a failed heater or its control circuit may be the cause and should be checked by a technician.
