Possible Causes

Stuck relay on main PCB keeping compressor on, faulty cabinet temperature sensor reading too high, incorrect thermostat calibration, ambient temperature too low for appliance location.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal components.

  • Check setpoint: Verify that the temperature setting is not at the minimum. Adjust to a higher temperature and monitor for several hours.
  • Relocate appliance: If the wine cooler is in a very cold room (e.g., unheated garage), move it to a location within the specified ambient range in the user manual.
  • Inspect cabinet sensor: Access and test the cabinet NTC sensor. A sensor reading that is too high will cause overcooling. Replace if out of spec.
  • Control board: If the compressor runs almost constantly regardless of the setpoint and the sensor is good, the compressor relay on the main PCB may be stuck closed. Replace the main control board.
