Possible Causes

Shorted cabinet NTC sensor, Sensor not in correct position, Stuck relay on main PCB keeping compressor on, Firmware calibration error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing sensors or PCB.

  • Verify setpoint: Confirm the set temperature is not accidentally set too low.
  • Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet NTC is not touching the evaporator directly unless designed to, and is not exposed to direct cold air blast only.
  • Test sensor: Measure resistance and compare to expected values; a shorted sensor can make the PCB think the cabinet is warm.
  • Inspect PCB relay: Look for a compressor relay stuck closed (burnt or welded contacts). If the compressor runs even when the setpoint is raised significantly, suspect the relay.
  • Replace faulty parts: Install a new "Cabinet NTC temperature sensor" or replace the "Main control board (PCB)" if the relay is defective.
