Possible Causes
Blown low-voltage fuse on the control board, failed display PCB, loose display harness, power supply failure on the main PCB.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing the control panel or the rear cover.
Steps:
- Check if cooling works: Listen for compressor or fan operation. If cooling works but the display is blank, focus on the display PCB and its power.
- Inspect harness: Remove the control panel and reseat the connector between the display PCB and the main control PCB.
- Check fuses: On the main board, look for small fuses protecting the low-voltage circuit. Test for continuity and replace with an identical type if blown.
- Replace display PCB: If power is present at the display connector but the display remains blank, replace the display PCB.
- Main board: If there is no low-voltage output from the main board, replace the main control PCB.
