Spilled wine or liquids, prolonged shutdown with the door closed, poor air circulation, high humidity inside the cabinet.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning; avoid harsh chemicals that can damage interior surfaces.
- Empty and clean: Remove all bottles and shelves. Wash interior surfaces with a solution of mild detergent and warm water, then wipe them with a mixture of 1 tablespoon baking soda in 1 quart of water.
- Dry thoroughly: Leave the door open and allow the interior to dry completely.
- Check drain: Ensure the drain hole is clear so that condensate does not stagnate.
- Odor absorbers: Place an open box of baking soda or a charcoal odor absorber inside to help prevent future odors.
