Steps:

Pull unit away from wall: Ensure the noise is not caused by vibration against cabinetry or walls.
Access rear compartment: Remove the rear lower panel to expose the compressor and condenser fan.
Check fan blade: Inspect the condenser fan blade for contact with shrouds, wires, or debris. Bend wires away and remove any obstructions.
Tighten compressor mounts: Verify that the compressor mounting bolts or rubber grommets are intact. Replace worn compressor mounting grommets if the compressor is rattling.
Replace noisy fan motor: If the fan motor is grinding or wobbling, replace the condenser fan motor and blade as needed.
