Safety: Unplug the unit before working near the light fixture or control board. The light lens and bulb may be hot.

Steps:

• 1. Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and is not hitting shelves or bottles.
• 2. Test door switch: Locate the door switch (mechanical plunger or magnetic reed). Manually actuate it and see if the light turns off. If not, the switch or control is faulty.
• 3. Inspect magnet alignment: For magnetic switches, verify the door magnet lines up with the sensor. Adjust hinges or replace magnet if needed.
• 4. Replace door switch: If the switch does not change state when actuated, replace the door switch assembly.
• 5. Control board check: If the switch works but the light remains on, the light relay or transistor on the main PCB may be stuck. Replace the main control board.
