Possible Causes
Burned-out LED light module, Faulty door switch, Loose light wiring connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before working on the light or switch.
Steps to restore interior light:
- Check light settings: Some NewAir models allow the light to be turned off via the control panel. Verify that the light is not simply disabled.
- Test door switch: Open and close the door while listening for the door alarm or watching the display. If the unit does not detect door opening, the door switch may be faulty.
- Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover inside the cabinet and visually inspect the LED module for burn marks or damage.
- Check wiring: Ensure the light’s connector is firmly attached and wires are not damaged.
- Replace faulty parts: Replace a failed NewAir LED light module or door reed switch as needed.
Note: Do not install non-original bulbs or modules; incorrect replacements can overload the control board.
