Display shows C0; the unit may not respond to the remote or may operate in a limited mode.
EEPROM or Configuration Error
E1
Indoor unit stops and displays E1; the unit may not respond to the remote or buttons.
Indoor/Outdoor Communication Failure
E2
Indoor unit stops cooling and displays E2; it may run briefly then shut down.
Indoor Evaporator Coil Freeze Protection / Anti-freeze Protection
E3
Outdoor unit stops and E3 appears; the unit may start then quickly shut down in cooling mode.
High-Pressure Protection / Outdoor Overload Protection
E4
The unit stops in heating mode and displays E4; it may blow cold air before shutting down.
Defrost Protection / Outdoor Coil Overheat or Frost Protection
E5
The unit does not start or stops shortly after starting; E5 is displayed on the indoor unit.
Overcurrent Protection / Compressor Overload
E6
Indoor unit shows E6 and stops; this sometimes occurs during a mode change or startup.
Indoor-Outdoor Communication Error (Alternate Code) / Zero-Crossing or Feedback Error
