The display shows 'BR' or a flashing brush icon, and the brush roll does not spin though suction is present.
Brush Roll Jam / Brush Motor Protection
CHG
The display shows 'CHG' flashing or the charger LED blinks rapidly, and the vacuum will not charge.
Charging Fault / Charger-Battery Mismatch
E1
Cordless vacuum stops shortly after starting; the LED flashes red in a repeating single-blink pattern.
Battery Pack Undervoltage Protection
E2
Cordless vacuum will not start; the LED flashes red twice repeatedly when the trigger is pulled.
Battery Overtemperature or Overcurrent Protection
E3
Vacuum stops during use; the LED flashes red three times in a repeating pattern, then the unit is unresponsive until power cycled.
Motor Overload / Stall Protection
E4
The LED indicator shows four red flashes when the trigger is pulled; the vacuum does not start.
Battery Pack Communication / Identification Error
E5
The vacuum runs for a few seconds then stops; the LED shows five red flashes, sometimes accompanied by a burning smell.
Motor Overtemperature Protection
E6
LED shows six red flashes, and the vacuum will not start after filter maintenance.
Filter Not Detected / Filter Door Open
E7
The vacuum runs only on low power, and the LED flashes red seven times when high-power mode is selected.
High-Speed Motor Drive Fault
E8
The LED shows eight red flashes, and the vacuum stops when the brush bar is turned ON but runs when the brush bar is OFF (on models with brush on/off control).
Brush Motor Overload / Short Circuit
E9
The vacuum will not start, the LED shows nine red flashes, often after the unit was dropped.
Internal Sensor / PCB Fault
F1
A vacuum with a digital display shows 'F1' and will not start.
Trigger Switch Fault
F2
Vacuum shows 'F2'; speed selector unresponsive or stuck on one mode.
Mode Selector / Button Panel Fault
F3
Vacuum shows 'F3'; runs erratically with speed surging up and down.
Motor Speed Feedback / Hall Sensor Fault
F4
Vacuum shows 'F4'; shuts down immediately when the trigger is pulled, even with a full battery.
Short Circuit Detected
F5
Vacuum shows 'F5'; battery indicator behaves erratically (jumping from full to empty).
Battery Fuel Gauge / Sensing Fault
FLT
The display shows 'FLT' or a filter icon, suction drops, and the vacuum cycles on/off.
Filter Clogged / Restricted Airflow
H2O
The display shows 'H2O' or a water droplet icon, and the vacuum stops after picking up liquid.
Moisture Detected in Air Path
LO
The display or LED shows 'LO' or continuous slow red flashing, and the vacuum runs only briefly or not at all.
Low Battery Charge
Symptom
Battery will not latch securely into the vacuum, causing intermittent power loss.
Battery Latch / Housing Wear
Symptom

Mini Motorized Tool Motor / Gear Failure
Symptom
Vacuum body becomes unusually hot to the touch during normal use.
Chronic Overheating
Symptom
Vacuum emits a burning smell during operation.
Motor Overheating / Electrical Insulation Breakdown
Symptom
Vacuum has very weak suction, even with a fully charged battery.
