Safety first: Do not attempt to cool or heat the battery rapidly (e.g., no freezers, ovens, or direct heaters). Extreme temperatures can damage the cells.

• Allow to reach room temperature: Remove the battery pack and leave it indoors at room temperature (15–25°C) for at least 1 to 2 hours.
• Avoid heavy use immediately after charging: Let the battery rest for 15 to 20 minutes after a full charge before using turbo mode.
• Check storage conditions: Do not store the vacuum or battery in very hot (e.g., loft, car in direct sun) or very cold (e.g., unheated shed) environments.
• Retest: Refit the battery and test again. If E7 clears and turbo mode works, the issue was environmental.
• Persistent E7 at normal temperature: If the error appears even when the battery is at room temperature, the internal temperature sensor or Battery Management System (BMS) is likely faulty. Replace the battery pack with a genuine Morphy Richards unit.
