Possible Causes
Water not heating properly, Faulty NTC sensor, Low inlet water temperature, Sensor contamination
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dishwasher from power before testing electrical components.
- Check water heating: After 20–30 minutes of a hot program, carefully open the door. If the water is still cold, investigate the heater and NTC as described for E05/E11.
- Clean sensors: Grease and limescale on the NTC or turbidity sensor can affect readings. Clean the sump area thoroughly.
- Use hot feed if available: If your Hoover model allows, connect to a hot water supply to reduce heating time (within specified temperature limits).
- Replace faulty components: If the heater and NTC are defective, replace the heater assembly or NTC sensor accordingly.
