Possible Causes
No dishwasher salt, Incorrect water hardness setting, Low rinse aid, Hard water deposits in machine.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the dishwasher to cool before working inside.
- Check salt level: Open the salt reservoir (usually in the base) and top up with dishwasher salt. Wipe away any spilled salt.
- Set water hardness: Adjust the water softener setting in the Hoover control menu according to your local water hardness (see manual).
- Adjust rinse aid: Increase the rinse aid dosage setting if glasses are not sheeting water properly.
- Run a descaling cycle: Use a dishwasher cleaner or descaler on an empty hot cycle to remove internal limescale.
