Dryer displays E17 and may stop with a beeping alarm; this is often related to the door opening during operation.

• Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes evenly and the latch engages fully. Adjust hinges if the door sags.
• Inspect door switch: Access the door switch assembly and check for loose mounting or a damaged actuator. Tighten screws and replace if worn.
• Secure wiring: Reseat the door switch connector and inspect the harness for breaks.
• After adjustments, restore power and run a test cycle. If E17 recurs when the door is not touched, the switch or main PCB input may be faulty and require replacement.
