• 2. Check wood box seating: Make sure the Cookshack wood box is fully inserted and properly seated where the heating element can heat it.
• 3. Inspect heating element position: Confirm the heating element is not sagging away from the wood box area. Gently reposition if necessary.
• 4. Clean ash and debris: Remove any ash or debris under and around the heating element that could insulate it from the wood box.
