The water pan empties very quickly or boils dry during normal cooks.

• Verify pan placement: Ensure the OEM water pan is installed at the correct rack level and not resting directly on the element.
• Check actual temperature: Use a reference thermometer to confirm the smoker is not running hotter than the display. Address any temperature control issues.
• Improve door seal: Replace worn gaskets to reduce excess airflow that accelerates evaporation.
• Use deeper pan: If needed, use a deeper OEM or compatible pan to increase water capacity.
