How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: This is primarily a cosmetic/indication issue; charging may still be safe.

  • Step 1 – App verification:
    • Use the ChargePoint app to confirm charger status while LEDs are malfunctioning.
  • Step 2 – Power cycle:
    • Turn off the breaker for 1 minute, then turn it back on.
    • Check if LED behavior returns to normal.
  • Step 3 – Internal check (qualified):
    • With power off, open the housing.
    • Inspect the LED ring module and its wiring harness to the UI or main board.
    • Reseat connectors.
  • Step 4 – Replace LED module:
    • If wiring is intact but LEDs remain out or stuck, replace the LED ring / status light assembly.
