Possible Causes
Failing LED driver on the PCB, loose light connector, defective LED module drawing excessive current, door switch contact bounce
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing light covers or accessing the PCB.
Steps to correct flickering:
- 1. Check the door switch: Ensure it is not rapidly making/breaking contact. Replace if worn.
- 2. Reseat the light connector: Remove the light cover and push the connector firmly into place.
- 3. Replace the LED module: If flickering persists, fit a new Caple LED light module.
- 4. PCB check: If a new module still flickers, the low-voltage driver on the PCB may be unstable, and the PCB should be replaced.
Note: Flickering does not usually affect cooling but can indicate developing PCB issues.
