Reginox
Cross-Drain Blockage / Incorrect Trap Configuration
Garbage disposal runs but water and ground waste are forced up into the opposite sink bowl (for double sinks); the internal LED flashes fifteen times.

Possible Causes
Blocked cross tube between sink bowls, Improperly installed baffle tee, Clogged branch tailpiece, Incorrect height of P-trap relative to the disposal outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the disposal and breaker. Do not run the unit while drains are blocked.
- Check for visible blockage: Remove the sink strainer from the non-disposal bowl and look for food buildup at the opening.
- Disassemble cross-drain: Place a pan under the cross tube and P-trap. Loosen slip nuts and remove the cross tube and trap. Clear any obstructions and rinse thoroughly.
- Verify configuration: Ensure the Reginox disposal outlet connects to a properly oriented baffle tee that directs flow downward, not directly across into the other bowl.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the piping, tighten slip nuts, run water, and briefly operate the disposal while observing both bowls.
- Adjust trap height if needed: The P-trap outlet should be lower than the disposal discharge to prevent backflow. Reconfigure piping if necessary.
