ADD
The display shows ADD or a water droplet icon; the unit beeps and stops making ice.
Low water/empty reservoir detection
E1
The ice maker stops shortly after startup and displays E1 on the control panel; the compressor does not run or runs only briefly.
Ambient/internal temperature sensor failure
E2
The unit powers on, the fan may run, but the compressor does not start and E2 is shown on the display.
Compressor or compressor start circuit fault
E3
The ice maker runs briefly, then stops and displays E3; the ice basket remains empty or only partially filled.
Water level sensor/float switch error
E4
The display shows E4 and the unit stops; the ice shovel or ice tray may be stuck in one position.
Ice shovel/motor position error
E5
The unit displays E5 and stops making ice; the fan may run but the compressor cycles abnormally.
Evaporator defrost/ice removal timeout
E6
E6 appears on the display; the unit may not start or may shut down unexpectedly.
Main control PCB communication or internal fault
E7
E7 error displayed; the unit may beep continuously and refuse to start an ice cycle.
Ice full sensor/infrared beam fault
E8
E8 appears and the unit stops; the water pump may not run or runs dry.
Water circulation pump fault
E9
E9 error displayed; the unit may start then quickly stop with beeping.
Overtemperature/overheat protection triggered
FULL
Display shows FULL or an ice bin icon; the unit stops making ice even though the basket is not full.
False Ice Bin Full Detection
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or only work intermittently.
Keypad / switch failure
Symptom
Condensation forms heavily on the outside of the unit and around the lid.
Excessive condensation
Symptom
Ice cubes are too large, stick together, or jam the ice shovel.
Overfreezing / Excessive Ice Thickness
Symptom
Ice has an unpleasant taste or odor.
Contaminated Water Path
Symptom
Ice maker does not power on at all; no lights, no display, and no sounds.
No Power / Input Power Failure
Symptom
Ice maker interior light (if equipped) does not turn on.
Interior LED / lamp failure
Symptom
Ice maker makes a clicking sound repeatedly but does not start a cycle.
Relay chatter / unstable power supply
Symptom
Ice melts quickly in the basket and clumps together.
Insufficient Ice Storage Insulation / High Ambient Temperature
Symptom
The display works but shows garbled characters or missing segments.
Display module or connection fault
Symptom
The fan runs but the compressor does not start; no error code is displayed.
Compressor start circuit failure
Symptom
The ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or knocking sounds).
Mechanical Noise / Vibration Issue
Symptom
The ice maker lid does not close properly or pops open during operation.
Lid hinge or latch misalignment
Symptom
The ice maker produces fewer cubes than normal; the production rate is very slow.
Reduced cooling efficiency
Symptom
The ice maker produces ice, but the cubes are very small or hollow.
Insufficient Water Flow to Evaporator
Symptom
The ice maker runs but produces no ice at all; the evaporator does not get cold.
Refrigeration System Failure
Symptom
The ice maker runs continuously without cycling properly; ice production is irregular.
Cycle control / timing fault
Symptom
The ice maker starts a cycle but stops after a few minutes without any error code.
Thermal protection or intermittent power loss
Symptom
The ice maker trips the household circuit breaker or blows fuses when turned on.
Electrical short circuit or ground fault
Symptom
The unit frequently stops with the 'ice full' indicator on, but the basket is only half full.
Premature ice full detection
Symptom
The unit powers on but does not start ice production when the start button is pressed.
Control Input / Start Circuit Fault
Symptom
The unit vibrates excessively and may move slightly on the countertop during operation.
Excessive vibration / poor leveling
Symptom
The water pump is very loud or makes a buzzing noise, but little or no water flows.
Water pump cavitation or blockage
Symptom
Unit emits a burning smell during operation.
Overheating electrical component
Symptom
Water is leaking from the bottom or sides of the ice maker onto the countertop.
Water Leak from Reservoir or Internal Tubing
