How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting or replacing switches.
- Locate switch: Identify the door switch or service panel switch near the bin door or access panel.
- Check alignment: Ensure that the door or panel fully depresses the switch plunger when closed. Adjust hinges or latch if needed.
- Test switch: Disconnect the switch and test continuity with a multimeter while pressing and releasing the actuator. Replace if readings are inconsistent.
