Possible Causes
Burned-out turntable motor, Broken or worn turntable coupler, Damaged roller ring, Obstruction under glass tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before handling internal parts.
- Remove and clean components: Take out the glass tray and roller ring. Clean them and the cavity floor thoroughly.
- Inspect roller ring: Check for flat spots, cracks, or missing wheels. Replace if damaged.
- Check coupler: Ensure the plastic coupler on the floor is not cracked and fits snugly on the motor shaft.
- Test motor operation: With the tray removed, plug in and run a short cycle while observing the coupler through the glass. If it does not turn, the motor is likely faulty.
- Replace motor: Access and replacement of the turntable motor should be done from the bottom by a technician using the correct Hansa motor.
Warning: Do not force the turntable by hand; this can strip the motor gears.
