How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing knobs or panels.
- Remove knobs: Pull the knobs straight off and clean the shafts and knob bores with a mild cleaner. Do not use excessive lubricant.
- Inspect selector switch: Check for melted plastic or misalignment. Replace the selector switch if the shaft is damaged.
- Replace knobs: If knobs are cracked or distorted, fit new Hotpoint knobs.
