Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, blown house fuse, loose power cord connection, failed terminal block, failed EOC power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker before accessing the rear terminal block or internal wiring.
Steps to check:
- Verify power: Check that the range's circuit breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Terminal block: Pull the range out, remove the rear cover, and inspect the power cord terminal block for burned or loose connections. Tighten or replace as needed.
- Voltage check: If equipped and trained, measure voltage at the terminal block (should be approximately 240 VAC across the two hot legs and approximately 120 VAC from each hot to neutral).
- Control fuse: Some models have an internal fuse on the control board. Check and replace if blown, but investigate the cause.
- Control board: If proper voltage is present but the display is dead, the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) may have failed and require replacement.
Warning: High voltage is present at the terminal block. If you are unsure, contact a professional.
