Possible Causes
Blocked condenser unit, Lint buildup in air ducts, Partially failed dryer heater, Faulty moisture sensor causing premature cycle end
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the machine to cool and unplug it before cleaning internal dryer components.
- Step 1 – Clean condenser: Remove and thoroughly rinse the condenser under running water until clear. Let it drain before refitting.
- Step 2 – Clear lint: Clean all accessible lint filters and air passages. Use a soft brush to remove lint from duct openings.
- Step 3 – Avoid overloading: Dry smaller loads and ensure clothes have been spun at high speed before drying.
- Step 4 – Clean moisture sensor: Wipe the metal sensor bars inside the drum with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove residue.
If drying remains poor, the dryer heater or fan may be weak and require testing and replacement.
