Possible Causes
Transport bolts not removed, Appliance not leveled, Worn shock absorbers, Weak or flexible floor surface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not place hands under the appliance while it is moving. Unplug before adjustments.
- Step 1 – Check transport bolts: For newly installed Hansa combos, ensure all rear transport bolts and spacers have been removed according to the installation manual.
- Step 2 – Level the appliance: Use a spirit level on top of the machine. Adjust the front and rear feet until the unit is stable and does not rock. Tighten lock nuts.
- Step 3 – Floor reinforcement: Place the washer-dryer on a solid, level surface. Avoid weak wooden platforms. Anti-vibration pads can help on slightly flexible floors.
- Step 4 – Inspect suspension: If vibration persists, inspect and replace worn shock absorbers and check suspension springs as described in the banging noise fault.
