How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer.
- Inspect drum holes: Look inside the drum for any metal protruding through the holes. Gently pull out if accessible.
- Check drum paddles: Some AEG paddles can be removed to access trapped objects. Release the paddle clip and remove it to look underneath.
- Access via heater hole: In stubborn cases, remove the heater from the tub and use a grab tool to retrieve objects from the bottom of the tub.
Do not operate the machine until the object is removed, as it can puncture the tub or damage the heater.
