dE
Wine cooler displays dE and beeps; the door alarm is active even when the door is closed.
Door Open Alarm / Door Detection Error
E1
The wine cooler displays E1, and the interior temperature rises above the set point. The unit still has lights, but the compressor does not run continuously.
Cabinet Temperature Sensor Failure
E10
Wine cooler displays E10 and beeps; the door appears closed, but the alarm persists.
Door Switch / Door Sensor Fault
E2
The wine cooler displays E2 and runs continuously or not at all. The temperature reading on the display is unrealistic (e.g., -- or 99°C).
Evaporator Temperature Sensor Failure
E3
The wine cooler shows E3, and the interior light and fan may work, but the compressor does not start or cycles erratically.
Ambient Temperature Sensor Failure
E4
The wine cooler displays E4 and may stop cooling or enter a defrost-like mode; the compressor and fan may be off for extended periods.
Defrost Sensor or Defrost Circuit Fault
E5
The wine cooler shows E5, and the compressor attempts to start but clicks off, or the unit remains off with the error displayed.
Compressor Start Protection / Overload Fault
E6
The wine cooler displays E6, and the interior fan may not run, or the unit cools poorly with no air circulation noise.
Evaporator Fan Motor Fault
E7
The wine cooler shows E7, and the display may flicker or buttons may not respond correctly.
User Interface / Display Panel Communication Error
E8
Wine cooler displays E8, and interior temperature fluctuates widely; the unit may short-cycle.
Dual-Zone Synchronization / Sensor Mismatch Fault (for dual-zone models)
E9
Wine cooler displays E9, and the compressor may not start; sometimes accompanied by beeping.
High Temperature Alarm / Over-Temperature Fault
F1
Wine cooler displays F1 and beeps; the temperature cannot be adjusted.
Keypad / Touch Control Fault
F2
Wine cooler displays F2, and the interior light may stay on or off incorrectly.
Light Circuit Fault
F3
Wine cooler displays F3, and the compressor and fan may not start; the unit appears powered but does not cool.
Main Control Board Failure
H1
Wine cooler displays H1 and stops cooling; this may indicate high temperature or sensor over-range.
High Temperature Sensor Over-Range Fault
Hi
Display shows "Hi" for temperature; unit may run continuously.
High Temperature Display / Sensor Over-Range
L1
Wine cooler displays L1 and may shut down cooling; this sometimes occurs in very cold rooms.
Low Temperature / Ambient Too Low Fault
Lo
The display shows "Lo" for temperature, and the compressor may not run; the interior may be too cold or normal.
Low Temperature Display / Sensor Under-Range
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.
Unresponsive Controls
Symptom
Chemical or burning plastic smell when the wine cooler is running.
Overheating Component / Electrical Insulation Odor
Symptom
Condensation forming on the glass door or around the door frame.
Door Condensation / Thermal Bridge
Symptom
Condenser fan at the rear does not run, causing the compressor to overheat and poor cooling.
Condenser Fan Failure
Symptom
Display is blank or very dim, but the compressor and fans still run.
Display Backlight / UI Power Issue
Symptom
Door does not close properly or pops open slightly after being shut.
Door Alignment / Hinge or Gasket Issue
Symptom
Dual-zone wine cooler has one zone cooling properly while the other zone is warm.
Single-Zone Cooling Failure in Dual-Zone System
Symptom
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the evaporator cover or back wall inside the wine cooler.
Frost Accumulation / Defrost System Issue
Symptom
Interior fan runs constantly even when the compressor is off, or never runs at all.
Evaporator Fan Control Issue
Symptom
Interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but the cooler otherwise works normally.
Interior Light Failure
Symptom
Interior of wine cooler feels too dry; corks appear to be drying out.
Low Humidity Inside Cabinet
Symptom
Strong musty or moldy odor inside the wine cooler.
Microbial Growth / Odor Contamination
Symptom
Water pooling at the bottom of the wine cooler or leaking onto the floor.
Drainage / Condensate Leak
Symptom
Wine cooler cools but temperature is unstable or different from the set temperature; bottles may be too warm or too cold.
Temperature Regulation / Thermostat Control Issue
Symptom
Wine cooler interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed.
Light Stuck On
Symptom
Wine cooler is completely dead; no lights, no display, no sound.
No Power / Power Supply Failure
Symptom
Wine cooler makes loud humming, buzzing, or rattling noises during operation.
Excessive Operational Noise
Symptom
Wine cooler not cooling at all; interior light works but temperature does not drop and compressor is silent.
Compressor Not Running
Symptom
Wine cooler produces a loud knocking or banging noise when the compressor starts or stops.
Compressor or Tubing Knock
Symptom
Wine cooler runs but does not get cold enough; compressor and fans operate but temperature remains high.
Insufficient Cooling / Sealed System Performance Issue
Symptom
Wine cooler trips the household circuit breaker or RCD when plugged in or shortly after starting.
Electrical Short / Ground Fault
Symptom
Wine cooler vibrates excessively, causing bottles to rattle or hum.
Cabinet Vibration / Mechanical Resonance
