E10
The dryer will not start a cycle or stops shortly after starting; sometimes E10 is displayed shortly after pressing start.
Water Inlet / Condenser Rinsing System Fault
E20
The dryer stops mid-cycle, clothes are still damp, and it may display E20; sometimes water remains in the base tray (for condenser/heat pump models).
Drain / Condensate Pump Fault
E21
The dryer stops with E21, often shortly after starting; it may not pump out condensate water and may trigger the leak tray float switch on some models.
Condensate Pump Blocked or Jammed
E30
The dryer will not start or stops and displays E30; sometimes accompanied by a beeping alarm and water in the base tray.
Leakage / Anti-Flood System Activated
E40
The dryer does not start; the display shows E40 or a door symbol; the door may appear closed, but the cycle will not begin.
Door Lock / Door Switch Fault
E41
The dryer displays E41 and will not start; the door appears closed, but the machine thinks it is open.
Door Not Properly Closed Signal
E42
The dryer shows E42; the door may remain locked or unlock incorrectly; the cycle may not start or may stop unexpectedly.
Door Locking Circuit Fault
E50
The dryer drum does not turn or stops during a cycle; E50 or a related motor error appears on the display.
Motor / Motor Control Fault
E51
The dryer will not start drum rotation; E51 is displayed; sometimes it trips the household breaker when attempting to start.
Motor Triac Short-Circuit on Control Board
E52
Dryer may start but stops shortly after; E52 is displayed; drum movement may be erratic.
Motor Tachometer Signal Fault
E53
Dryer may not start or may stop with E53; sometimes associated with erratic motor speed.
Motor Control Circuit Fault
E54
Dryer may trip the breaker or show E54 when starting or reversing drum direction.
Motor Relay Stuck or Faulty
E60
Dryer does not heat or stops with E60; clothes remain cold and wet even after a full cycle.
Heating System General Fault
E61
Dryer heats up very slowly; drying times are excessively long; E61 may be stored as a service code.
Insufficient Heating Performance
E62
Dryer overheats quickly; drum and door become very hot; the cycle may stop with E62.
Overheating / Over-Temperature Fault
E63
Dryer stops heating mid-cycle; E63 is displayed; it may restart after cooling down.
Heater Safety Cut-Out / Overheat Protection Activated
E64
Dryer runs but never heats; E64 is stored or displayed; clothes remain cold.
Heater Relay or Heater Circuit Open
E70
Dryer may not heat correctly; E70 or a related sensor error is stored; temperature readings appear incorrect.
NTC Temperature Sensor Circuit Fault
E71
Dryer may not start heating; E71 is displayed or logged; the control detects NTC out of range (open circuit).
NTC Sensor Open-Circuit
E72
Dryer may overheat or underheat; E72 is logged; the second NTC sensor (if fitted) is out of range.
Secondary NTC Sensor Fault
E80
Dryer display or selector behaves erratically; E80 or a similar error appears; an incorrect program may be detected.
Program Selector / User Interface Fault
E90
Dryer will not start; E90 or a related communication error appears; the display may be blank or frozen.
Communication Error Between Main Board and User Interface
E91
Dryer display may light up, but controls are unresponsive; E91 is logged as a communication error.
No Communication from User Interface
E92
Dryer may start with an incorrect configuration; E92 is logged; unusual behavior may occur after board replacement.
Configuration / EEPROM Error
E93
Dryer shows a configuration error after service; some programs may be missing or not working.
Incorrect Configuration Data
E94
Dryer may not start or may run incorrect cycles; E94 is stored; configuration mismatch.
Program Configuration Error
Symptom
Dryer control panel buttons are unresponsive or only some buttons work intermittently.
User Interface Keypad Fault
Symptom
Dryer display shows that the water tank is full, but the tank is empty or recently emptied.
False Water Tank Full Indication
Symptom
Dryer display shows unusually long remaining times or time jumps up and down during the cycle.
Moisture Sensing / Time Estimation Issue
Symptom
Dryer does not start at all; the display may be blank or lights may be on, but there is no response when pressing start.
No Power / Won't Start
Symptom
Dryer door will not open at the end of the cycle; no error code displayed.
Door Stuck / Lock Not Releasing
Symptom
Dryer drum does not turn, but the machine powers on and may heat; a humming noise may be heard.
Drum Drive Failure
Symptom
Dryer emits a burning smell during operation, with or without visible smoke.
Overheating / Lint Ignition Risk
Symptom
Dryer emits a musty or moldy smell on clothes after drying.
Odor Contamination in Air Path
Symptom
Dryer interior light does not work when the door is opened, but the dryer otherwise functions normally.
Drum Light Failure
Symptom
Dryer is very noisy during operation, with grinding, scraping, or rumbling sounds.
Mechanical Noise / Bearing or Roller Wear
Symptom
Dryer leaks water onto the floor from the front or underneath, no error code displayed.
Water Leakage from Condenser System
Symptom
Dryer runs but produces no heat; clothes remain cold after the cycle, no error code shown.
No Heat / Cold Drying
Symptom
Dryer runs, but clothes remain damp or wet at the end of the cycle; no error code is displayed.
