Dryer will not start; the display shows E01, and the door symbol may flash.
Door Lock / Door Switch Fault
E02
Dryer stops shortly after starting or will not start; E02 is displayed, often with no drum movement.
Motor Start / Motor Circuit Fault
E03
Dryer stops mid-cycle or will not start; E03 is displayed, often associated with overheating or poor airflow.
NTC Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Fault
E04
Dryer stops heating or shuts down with E04; it may be accompanied by a very hot cabinet or a burning smell before shutdown.
Overheating / Safety Thermostat Tripped
E05
Dryer runs but does not heat; E05 is displayed after a short time.
Heater Element Circuit Fault
E06
Dryer stops or will not start; E06 is displayed, sometimes after a power surge or during the moisture sensing phase.
Control Board / EEPROM Communication Fault
E07
Dryer stops with E07; on condenser/heat pump models, this may be associated with water tank or pump issues.
Condensate Pump / Water Level Fault
E08
Dryer displays E08 and may stop heating or not start; this is often related to fan or airflow monitoring.
Fan Motor / Airflow Fault
E09
Dryer displays E09 and may not start or may stop unexpectedly; this is sometimes associated with drum rotation issues.
Motor Triac / Motor Control Fault
E10
Dryer displays E10 and may not start or may stop during a cycle; this is often linked to humidity sensing.
Moisture Sensor / Conductivity Fault
E11
Dryer displays E11; this may be associated with temperature control issues or a secondary NTC sensor.
Secondary NTC / Exhaust Temperature Sensor Fault
E12
Dryer displays E12 and may not heat correctly; this is often observed on heat pump models.
Heat Pump System Fault (Heat Pump Models)
E13
Dryer displays E13; it may stop shortly after starting, often on heat pump models with water collection in a tray.
Heat Pump Condensate / Float Switch Fault
E14
Dryer displays E14; this may be related to communication between the user interface and the main board.
User Interface to Main PCB Communication Fault
E15
Dryer displays E15 and may not start; this is sometimes associated with door or safety circuits.
General Safety Circuit Fault
E16
Dryer displays E16; this may be related to sensor calibration or internal diagnostics.
Internal Sensor Calibration / Self-Test Fault
E17
Dryer displays E17; may be associated with door opening detection during a cycle.
Door Open Detection Fault
E18
Dryer shows E18; may be related to power supply or mains frequency detection.
Power Supply / Frequency Detection Fault
Symptom
Dryer causes the household circuit breaker or RCD to trip during or shortly after starting.
Electrical Short or Earth Leakage
Symptom
Dryer display and buttons work, but the drum light and motor do not come on when starting a cycle.
Door Interlock / Safety Chain Open
Symptom
Dryer door gets very hot to the touch during operation.
Front Airflow Restriction / Seal Issue
Symptom
Dryer door will not open at the end of the cycle; it feels locked even though the machine is off.
Door Lock Mechanism Jammed
Symptom
Dryer drum does not turn, but a humming sound can be heard when the start button is pressed.
Seized Drum or Failed Motor Start
Symptom
Dryer drum light stays on even when the door is closed and the machine is running.
Door Switch Stuck / Mis-detection
Symptom
Dryer emits a burning smell during operation, with or without visible smoke.
Overheating / Lint Ignition Risk
Symptom
Dryer heats but takes a very long time to dry; clothes are warm but still damp after a full cycle.
Restricted Airflow / Poor Drying Performance
Symptom
Dryer leaks water onto the floor during or after a cycle (condenser and heat pump models).
Water Leak / Condensate Handling Fault
Symptom
Dryer leaves black or brown marks on clothes after drying.
Drum Seal / Felt Seal Contamination or Wear
Symptom
Dryer makes loud banging or thumping noises during operation, especially when the drum rotates.
Drum Support / Bearing Wear
Symptom
Dryer powers on but will not start the cycle when the start button is pressed; display and lights appear normal.
Start Circuit / User Interface Fault
Symptom
Dryer produces a high-pitched squealing or screeching noise while operating.
Drum Belt / Idler Pulley / Bearing Squeal
Symptom
Dryer runs but clothes come out very wrinkled and creased.
Over-drying / Incorrect Program Use
Symptom
Dryer runs but does not heat; clothes remain cold and damp at the end of the cycle, with no error code displayed.
No Heat / Open Heater Circuit
Symptom
Dryer runs but there is a rattling or scraping noise from the fan area.
Fan Obstruction or Damage
Symptom
Dryer stops mid-cycle and the drum light remains on; the machine can be restarted but stops again after a short time.
Intermittent Overheat or Motor Protection Trip
Symptom
Dryer stops shortly after starting and the drum feels very hot inside, but clothes are still wet.
Overheat Cut-out Due to Blocked Airflow
Symptom
Dryer vibrates excessively or moves across the floor during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Imbalance
Symptom
Dryer will not start at all; no lights or display illuminate when the power button is pressed.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
