Possible Causes
Charger installed far from router, Metal structures blocking signal, Damaged or poorly positioned internal antenna, Overcrowded Wi-Fi channel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network issues do not affect electrical safety.
- Check signal strength: Use your phone near the charger to see Wi-Fi signal bars. If weak, move the router closer or add a Wi-Fi extender.
- Change Wi-Fi channel: Log into your router and select a less congested channel (e.g., 1, 6, or 11 on 2.4 GHz).
- Reposition router/charger: Avoid placing the router behind metal appliances or in a basement if the charger is outside.
- Technician step: If signal is strong but the charger still disconnects, a technician can inspect and, if needed, replace the Wi-Fi antenna or communication module.
