E20
The burner shuts down with an indication of a condensate fault (for condensing units).
Condensate Drainage Failure
Symptom
Condensate dripping from flue joints or around burner door
Condensate leakage
Symptom
Corrosion or rust visible around burner flange and combustion chamber opening
Corrosion due to condensate or flue gas leakage
Symptom
Furnace fan runs continuously even when there is no call for heat
Fan control malfunction
Symptom
Furnace starts but shuts down after a few seconds, then retries repeatedly
Recycling on flame failure
Symptom
Radiators or warm air outlets are hot near the furnace but cold in distant rooms
Poor heat distribution
Symptom
Soot deposits around inspection door or flue connection
Flue gas leakage
Symptom
Strong fuel smell (gas or oil) around the furnace.
Fuel Leakage or Incomplete Combustion
Symptom
The furnace makes a loud booming noise at ignition.
Delayed Ignition
Symptom
The furnace or burner vibrates excessively during operation.
Mechanical Vibration
Symptom
The furnace produces a rumbling or roaring noise during operation.
Combustion Instability
Symptom
The furnace runs but does not produce enough heat, and rooms remain cold.
Insufficient Heat Output
Symptom
The furnace short cycles, turning on and off frequently without reaching the set temperature.
Short Cycling
Symptom
The furnace will not start at all; there is no display or lights on the Weishaupt controller.
No Power to Furnace
Symptom
Thermostat calls for heat but burner does not start, controller shows no fault
Control signal interruption
Symptom
Unusual clicking or buzzing noises from control panel
Electrical control noise
Symptom
Visible smoke from the chimney or flue terminal.
Incomplete Combustion / Sooting
Symptom
