Display shows ERR AUGER; grill will not feed pellets, and the fire goes out or never starts.
Auger Feed Failure
ERR COMM
The display shows 'ERR COMM' or a communication error: the control panel may be unresponsive or show dashes.
Control Board Communication Failure
ERR DOOR
The display shows 'ERR DOOR' or a lid open warning: the grill will not start or will not advance past the ignition cycle.
Lid Switch / Door Sensor Fault
ERR FAN
Grill displays ERR FAN and shuts down; you may not hear the combustion fan running during startup or cooking.
Combustion Fan Failure
ERR FAN2
The display shows 'ERR FAN2' or an auxiliary fan error: the convection or cabinet fan does not run when expected.
Convection / Cabinet Fan Failure
ERR FLAME
Grill starts to light but then shuts down with ERR FLAME on the display; pellets may be in the pot, but no sustained flame.
Flame Detection Failure
ERR FLOW
Display shows ERR FLOW or an airflow error; the grill may shut down shortly after an ignition attempt.
Airflow / Pressure Switch Fault
ERR FUSE
Display shows ERR FUSE, or the unit is dead with an internal fuse blown repeatedly.
Internal Fuse / Overcurrent Fault
ERR HI
The display shows 'ERR HI' or a temperature overshoot alarm: the grill temperature climbs far above the setpoint and may shut down for safety.
Over-Temperature Condition
ERR HOP
The display shows 'ERR HOP' or a similar hopper-related error: the grill reports a pellet supply issue even when the hopper contains pellets.
Hopper/Pellet Level Sensor Fault
ERR IGN
Grill will not light; display shows ERR IGN shortly after startup, and the startup cycle aborts.
Ignition Failure
ERR LO
The display shows 'ERR LO' or a low temperature alarm: the grill cannot reach or maintain the set temperature and may shut down.
Low Temperature / Flame-Out Condition
ERR PROBE
Meat probe temperature does not register or shows 'ERR PROBE' on the display when a food probe is connected.
Meat Probe Input Failure
ERR PWR
The display shows 'ERR PWR' or a power fault: the grill may reboot unexpectedly or shut down during a cook.
Power Supply / Voltage Fault
ERR SENS
The display shows 'ERR SENS' or a sensor fault: the grill may not start or may run only in a default mode.
General Sensor Circuit Fault
ERR TEMP
Display shows ERR TEMP or temperature reading is dashes/blank; the grill will not regulate temperature.
Temperature Probe Failure
ERR TIME
Display shows ERR TIME or a clock/timer error; scheduled cooks or timers do not function correctly.
Real-Time Clock / Timer Fault
ERR WIFI
The display or app shows 'ERR WIFI' or cannot connect to the grill’s Wi-Fi module: remote control features do not work.
Wi-Fi Module / Connectivity Fault
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or require very hard presses.
Keypad / Button Failure
Symptom
Cabinet or side shelves feel loose or wobbly when the grill is moved or used.
Structural Fastener Loosening
Symptom
Caster wheels do not roll smoothly or lock properly; the grill is difficult to move or secure.
Caster / Wheel Wear
Symptom
Display is dim, flickers, or segments are missing, but the grill otherwise operates.
Display Module Degradation
Symptom
Excessive ash accumulates in the cook chamber and on food; smoke appears dusty.
High Ash Production / Poor Combustion
Symptom
Excessive smoke leaks from around the lid, door, or seams instead of primarily from the exhaust.
Cabinet Seal / Gasket Failure
Symptom
Flare-ups or small fires occur in the cook chamber, often under fatty foods.
Grease Fire / Flare-Up
Symptom
Grease drips from the bottom of the grill or runs down the cabinet instead of into the grease bucket or pan.
Grease Management System Blockage
Symptom
Lid or door is difficult to open/close or does not stay aligned with the body.
Hinge / Alignment Issue
Symptom
Pellets in the hopper appear swollen, crumble easily, or form clumps; grill performance is erratic.
Pellet Moisture Contamination
Symptom
Strong chemical or plastic smell during operation, not typical wood smoke aroma.
Contamination / Non-Food-Safe Materials in Cook Chamber
Symptom
The auger makes loud grinding or squealing noises during operation.
Auger Bearing / Bushing Wear
Symptom
The grill lights but then goes out mid-cook without an error code; the temperature drops, and food stops cooking.
Intermittent Flame-Out
Symptom
The grill overshoots the set temperature by 50°F or more and cycles with large swings.
Temperature Overshoot / Poor Regulation
Symptom
The grill powers on but will not start a cook cycle; pressing START does nothing or immediately aborts.
Startup Interlock / Control Logic Fault
Symptom
The grill temperature is much lower than the setpoint and struggles to reach high temperatures.
Insufficient Heat Output
Symptom
The grill will not power on at all; the display is blank, and no fans or auger run.
No Power Condition
Symptom
Uneven cooking; one side of the grate is significantly hotter than the other.
Heat Distribution Imbalance
Symptom
Visible rust or corrosion on internal metal components, such as grates, diffuser, or fire pot.
Corrosion / Material Degradation
Symptom
Wi-Fi/app connection is unstable; grill frequently drops offline during cooks.
Intermittent Wireless Connectivity
