E01
Pump will not start; display shows E01 immediately after power-on.
Low Line Voltage / Undervoltage Protection
E02
Pump attempts to start, hums briefly, then stops and displays E02.
Overcurrent / Locked Rotor Protection
E03
Pump stops during operation and displays E03; will not restart until cooled.
Motor Overtemperature Trip
E04
Display shows E04 and pump will not start; sometimes occurs after a power outage.
Phase Loss / Phase Imbalance (for 3‑phase AquaJet models)
E05
Pump display shows E05 and motor does not run; sometimes accompanied by a clicking sound.
Internal Drive / Inverter Fault
E06
Pump starts then quickly stops with E06; sometimes runs roughly before stopping.
Motor Overload / Excessive Current Draw
E07
Display shows E07 and pump will not start; occurs after dry running or blocked suction.
Dry Run / No Water Protection
E08
Pump display shows E08 and speed cannot be adjusted; the unit may run at a fixed low speed.
Speed Sensor / Feedback Error
E09
Display shows E09 and the pump stops; this often occurs during thunderstorms or after a power surge.
Overvoltage / Surge Protection Trip
E10
The pump display shows E10 and the unit will not start; the keypad appears unresponsive.
Keypad / User Interface Communication Error
E11
The display shows E11 and the pump stops; this may occur when the water temperature is very high.
Water Temperature Sensor Fault / Overtemperature
E12
The pump display shows E12 and the unit will not run; this often occurs after long cable runs or with noisy power.
Communication / EMI Interference Error
E13
The display shows E13 and the pump speed is limited; it cannot reach the programmed RPM.
Maximum Current Limit / Torque Limit Reached
E14
The pump display shows E14 and the unit stops; this may coincide with the tripping of a GFCI breaker.
Ground Fault / Leakage Current Detected
E15
The display shows E15 and the pump cannot be controlled by an external automation system.
External Control Input Fault
E16
The pump display shows E16 and the unit will not start; this often occurs after long storage or during installation.
Internal Memory / Parameter Corruption
E17
The display shows E17 and the pump speed fluctuates unexpectedly.
Unstable Supply / Line Frequency Error
E18
The display shows E18 and the pump stops; this may coincide with very low system pressure.
Suction Pressure Too Low / Cavitation Protection
E19
Display shows E19, and the pump cannot reach the set flow rate; the flow reading is erratic.
Flow Sensor Calibration / Fault
E20
Display shows E20, and the pump will not start; the internal relay clicks once.
Start Circuit / Relay Fault
Symptom
Pump display is on but keypad buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Interface Failure
Symptom
Pump housing or motor feels excessively hot to the touch during normal operation.
Overheating Under Load
Symptom
Pump runs at only one speed and ignores programmed speed changes.
Variable Speed Control Failure
Symptom
Pump runs but filter pressure is unusually high and flow at the returns is weak.
System Restriction / High Head
Symptom
Pump runs but filter pressure is very low and there is poor skimming action.
Low Suction / Partial Blockage
Symptom
Pump runs but there are large amounts of air bubbles visible in the pump lid and at the pool returns.
Suction-Side Air Leak
Symptom
Pump runs but trips the circuit breaker or GFCI after several minutes.
Overcurrent or Ground Fault Under Load
Symptom
Pump schedule does not run at programmed times; clock appears incorrect.
Real-Time Clock / Programming Issue
Symptom
The pump emits a burning smell or visible smoke from the motor area.
Motor Winding or Insulation Failure
Symptom
The pump emits a loud humming sound but does not start; it may trip the breaker after a few seconds.
Stalled Motor / Start Circuit Failure
Symptom
The pump is leaking water from the area between the motor and the pump housing.
Mechanical Shaft Seal Failure
Symptom
The pump makes a rattling or clattering noise, especially at startup or shutdown.
Loose Impeller or Debris in Volute
Symptom
The pump runs but is extremely noisy, with a loud grinding or screeching sound.
Motor Bearing Failure
Symptom
The pump runs but the water appears cloudy or dirty despite normal circulation.
Insufficient Turnover / Flow Mismatch
Symptom
The pump runs, but there is no or very little water flow back to the pool.
Loss of Prime / Airlocked Pump
Symptom
The pump starts, then shuts off after a few seconds without showing an error code.
Thermal Overload or Internal Protection Trip
Symptom
The pump vibrates excessively and causes pipes to shake during operation.
Imbalance or Misalignment
Symptom
The pump will not start at all; there is no display, no lights, and no sound.
No Power to Pump
Symptom
Water is leaking from around the clear pump lid during operation.
Lid Seal / O‑Ring Leak
Symptom
Water is leaking from the union connections on the suction or discharge side of the pump.
Union Gasket / Thread Leak
