Controller Power or Display Failure
Symptom
Corrosion and rust visible on battery terminals and nearby metal surfaces inside the generator enclosure.
Battery Corrosion and Enclosure Oxidation
Symptom
Generator cranks but will not start; no error code is displayed on the Gillette controller.
No-Start Condition Without Logged Fault
Symptom
Generator fails to start automatically during a utility power outage, but starts manually at the generator.
Automatic Start/Transfer Failure
Symptom
Generator runs but produces no AC output voltage; the controller shows normal run status with no fault.
No AC Output – Dead Alternator
Symptom
Generator runs for a short time then shuts down without any code; controller may simply show STOPPED.
Intermittent Shutdown Without Logged Fault
Symptom
Generator starts and runs during outage but building does not receive power; transfer switch does not transfer.
